Job Description

At Comoto, creative isn’t just a service function, it’s a core part of how we show up for riders. Our work reaches millions of people across RevZilla, Cycle Gear, J&P Cycles, Common Tread, and REVER, and we take that responsibility seriously (while still having a lot of fun doing it).

We’re looking for an Associate Visual Designer who brings care, curiosity, and growing craft to their work - -  someone who has a strong design foundation, great ideas, and a hunger to learn, improve, and contribute meaningfully to the team. You’re early in your career, but serious about your craft: open to feedback, eager to learn from others, and motivated to push yourself and your work forward.

You enjoy collaboration, open critique, and learning through doing. You care about why something works, not just how it looks, and you’re excited to build your skills in both design execution and design thinking. You’re looking for a place where you can grow, and you’re ready to put in the effort to get there.

What We Value in This Role

  • A strong design foundation: typography, layout, hierarchy, color, composition, and consistency matter here.
  • Care, attention to detail, and pride in clean, thoughtful execution.
  • Curiosity and a genuine desire to learn, improve, and grow your craft.
  • Openness to feedback and direction, with the ability to apply it quickly and thoughtfully.
  • A collaborative mindset and positive presence on the team.
  • The ability to move quickly, stay organized, and manage your time with guidance.
  • A passion for design, creative growth, and doing work that makes an impact.

Moto Industry Knowledge

You don’t need to be a motorcycle expert when you start. We’re more than happy to teach you the industry! What matters is your curiosity and desire to understand our customers, our products, and the world they live in. The more you understand riders, the better your work will be.

What You Can Expect to Do As Our Associate Visual Designer:

  • Support the design team by creating visual assets across web and digital, social media, email marketing, and print.
  • Collaborate closely with the associate Creative Director, Art Director, and other Visual Designers to develop creative solutions for campaigns and projects.
  • Execute design work based on creative direction, feedback, and established guidelines.
  • Maintain visual consistency across platforms and touchpoints.
  • Participate in critiques by sharing work, asking questions, and thoughtfully applying feedback.
  • Stay curious about design best practices, trends, and the motorcycle industry to continue growing your skills and perspective.
  • Manage assigned projects and tasks to meet deadlines, quality standards, and expectations with guidance and support.

Qualifications

You'll Know This Is a Fit For You If You Have:

  • 1–3 years of professional experience or equivalent education in Graphic Design or a related discipline.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects
  • Experience with Figma or a willingness to learn.
  • A solid understanding of typography, color theory, composition, spacing, and hierarchy.
  • The ability to communicate your ideas and ask questions when something isn’t clear.
  • An organized and detail-oriented approach to your work, and are eager to learn professional workflows and best practices.
  • Experience creating GIFs, animations, or motion graphics for social and email.

Final Details:

  • Location: Full-time remote role, with hybrid flexibility if based in Philadelphia, PA.
  • Application Requirement: You must submit a resume and a link to a portfolio showcasing a variety of styles. Portfolios are essential to demonstrate your design capabilities, versatility, and thinking.
