At Comoto, we’re looking for a hands-on, detail-driven Facilities Maintenance Technician who thrives on the hum of a busy facility and isn’t afraid to get a little grease under their nails.  This is a full time benefits-eligible role that pays $25-$28 per hour.

This role is for someone who treats every bolt, light switch, and conveyor belt like it’s part of a finely tuned machine. You’ll help keep our warehouse running smooth, taking on everything from conveyor systems and forklifts to lighting and facility upkeep. If you believe no task is too big or too small, you’ll fit right in.

Our Next Facilities Maintenance Tech Will:

• Maintain a clean and safe working environment for all staff
• Conduct walkthroughs like you own the joint—because when you're on the job, you kinda do
• Perform both scheduled services and non-scheduled maintenance tasks including but not limited to:
  • Conveyance systems, including spiral and vertical reciprocating conveyors
  • Pneumatic conveyor systems
  • Industrial Lift Trucks
  • Lighting maintenance
  • Office cleanliness and basic janitorial support
  • Painting touch ups
  • Replacing damaged ceiling tiles
  • Cardboard balers
  • Addressing clogged drains

• Maintain and troubleshoot motors, photo eyes, relays, proximity sensors, motor starters, continuous belts
• Execute Preventive Maintenance programs
• Be available for off-hours support
• Provide weekly equipment safety checks
• Track maintenance schedules
• Assist with safety and security procedures
• Keep public areas clean and orderly
• New hire desk set-ups and inter-office move assistance
• Ad hoc projects as assigned

 Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Core Competencies:

• Commitment to Comoto’s Core Values
• HS Diploma Required. Vocational or Trade School?  Even better
• 2+ years in facilities or maintenance roles
• Digital savvy - must be able to handle a web app-based ticketing system and multiple communication platforms
• Ability to multi-task. Things move fast around here (like a Ducati in the desert)
• Proactive
• Comfortable using hand tools
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple tasks
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work a schedule outside of normal business hours when needed
• Working knowledge of building upkeep and maintenance
