What you will do: 

• Provide pastoral oversight, leadership, counseling, and care as needed or directed by the executive director of ministry or lead pastor
• Oversee church-wide baptism, lay counseling, and care systems and processes.
• Oversee the development and advancement of our Connect Groups.
• Oversee the progressive excellence and “over the top” reception, instruction, and overall experience of Next Steps.
• Research, suggest, and oversee all CommunityU offered courses for spiritual and leadership development. 
• Oversee all adult event and service prayer support & follow up processes.
• Annually request and successfully manage community life budgets, spending, and expensing.
• Champion all Community Life communication and promotional needs.
• Continually network, learn, and grow for the progressive excellence and continued implementation of departmental best practices; ensuring leaders are doing the same.
• Assist with other projects and/or assignments as needed.

• Completed all levels of the Community Church “Next Steps” course
• Agree with the Community Church “Statement of Faith.”
• Completed Foundations (or previous versions such as Catechism or Discipleship 101)
• Completed Community’s Top 5 leadership training
• Upholds Team Orange values
• Completed leadership interview process (2 Interviews)
• Faithful worship attendance and tithing at Community Church
