Job Description

Billing Specialist

  • Create customer specific invoices with accurate GL coding. 
  • Timely distribution as requested by customers to include submitting invoices in their AP systems with all necessary backup.
  • Record daily cash transactions: ACH, Lockbox, Checks and Credit Cards.
  • Ensure all systems are updated as transactions are performed.
  • Fast paced and high attention to detail.
  • 3 years experience in AR and knowledge accounting principles

AP Specialist

  • Perform PO/Invoice match and enter invoices for payment.
  • Investigates and resolves problems associated with processing of invoices and purchase orders.
  • Prepares batch check runs, wire transfers, and ACH transactions.
  • Handles all vendor correspondence via phone or email.
  • 3 years experience in AP and knowledge accounting principles

Staff Accountant

  • Ensure compliance and enforcement of company risk management policy.
  • Create and maintain vendor and customer records.
  • Monitor credit card charges, payment discrepancies, expense reports, refunds, returns and miscellaneous charges.
  • Review contracts and credit applications.
  • Supports AP and AR activities to ensure accounting principles and company procedures are followed.
  • Reviews, investigates, and corrects errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports.
  • Installs, modifies, documents, and coordinates implementation of accounting systems and accounting control procedures.
  • Collects appropriate data and prepares federal, state, and local reports and tax returns.
  • Monitors compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and company procedures
  • 5 years experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
