Job Description

We are seeking a friendly and detail orientated banquet set-up houseperson to join the team.  The Banquet Set-up roll is to set up, break down and clean  all receptions and banquet functions efficiently, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction from beginning to end, along with the ability to maintain poise in fast-paced and high volume situations.


  • Efficient and correct set up of tables,meeting supplies,  chairs, platforms/stages, and other equipment as specified by group requirements
  • Adherence to all applicable brand standards
  • Clean, service and refresh function rooms during breaks 
  • Break down of tables, chairs, platforms/stages and return in good /clean condition to storage areas
  • Keep function rooms and equipment storage clean and in good condition
  • Assist servers with setting and clearing of banquet tables, stocking service stations, and assist with buffet /coffee break/table service to ensure total guest satisfaction
  • Safely deliver carts of soiled dishes/glassware/flatware to kitchen for washing
  • Maintain stock and cleanliness of stations for all events including silver, linen and condiments


  • Strong customer service focus
  • Previous experience in food service, basic knowledge of banquet service
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Able to work with speed and efficiency while under pressure
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Flexible schedule
  • Ability to frequently lift 10-25lbs
