Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead the full HR function within our organisation of approximately 70 employees.

Reporting directly to the Board, this standalone role combines strategic HR leadership with hands-on operational responsibility across all aspects of the employee lifecycle. You will be the trusted advisor to leadership and employees, ensuring compliance with employment legislation, fostering positive employee relations, and supporting a high-performing and engaged workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the principal HR advisor to the Board and management team.
  • Lead employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, investigation and absence management processes.
  • Ensure compliance with Irish employment legislation and HR best practice.
  • Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures and employee documentation.
  • Manage onboarding, performance management, learning and development, and employee offboarding.
  • Oversee employee benefits, wellbeing initiatives and leave management programmes.
  • Produce HR metrics, reports and workforce insights to support decision-making.
  • Lead employee engagement and culture initiatives.
  • Manage recruitment activities for approved vacancies.

Qualifications

You will be an experienced HR professional who is comfortable operating independently and providing both strategic and operational HR support.

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a broad HR Generalist or HR Manager role.
  • Strong knowledge of Irish employment law and HR best practice.
  • Proven experience managing employee relations cases.
  • Experience advising senior leaders and supporting organisational change.
  • Degree or professional qualification in HR, Business or a related discipline.
