Colliers is making headway in formalising it’s ESG goals and roadmaps as well as making progress in reducing its carbon footprint of its offices and mobility to CO2 neutral in 2030. At the same time we are facing the challenge of reporting our progress according to the CSRD and ESRS requirements starting in 2025 over 2024. We need to construct a workable and manageable approach to accomplish this.

Do you feel challenged to help us reach this ambitious goal? In this role within Colliers, you will have the freedom and flexibility to develop the way we will approach these requirements through stakeholder dialogs, double materiality analysis and value chain analysis. We are looking for a creative, pragmatic, ambitious and enthusiastic colleague to help Colliers achieve this.

Function
The Working Student ESG will help deliver the insights to lift the ESG reporting of Colliers to the required level and create a roadmap to mandatory and future KPI’s. You will have affinity with the reporting, technical and strategic aspects of ESG and you will work closely with the stakeholders within and outside Colliers. Your commitment, experience and drive will help you to understand the key drivers, identify opportunities and overcome challenges. Colliers is a flat organization, and you will engage with all levels. You will report to Danielle ten Haaf, Senior Operations Specialist, and be a member of the COO team.

As a member of our ESG team, you will play a pivotal role in collecting and processing data to meet the CSRD reporting standards and support the external auditor in maintaining Colliers' EED Energy Certificate/CO2 Prestatieladder. You will also be responsible for preparing and documenting stakeholder dialogues, developing the double materiality analysis, and designing ESG dashboards.

Additionally, you will initiate the value chain analysis and collaborate closely with other Colliers countries at the EMEA level on ESG reporting. You will actively participate in shaping the future of ESG within Colliers, with an internal focus on commercial considerations. As a part of our team, you can have a direct impact on our ESG initiatives.

Skills
The Working Student ESG is a self-starter with an entrepreneurial attitude. You have well-developed communication skills, are effective in engaging with colleagues and management as well as with external stakeholders. Also, you possess a willingness to drive change and have a creative ‘out-of-the-box’ mindset.

  • Enjoy working in a fast paced, ever-changing and cross-functional environment on a global scale

  • Ability to analyse, interpret & communicate social & environmental data for reporting & to inform decision making
  • Have an understanding of the ESG/Sustainability/Social Impact landscape, either through academic or professional experience
  • Have an excellent academic background
  • In your final year of your bachelor, or currently doing your master degree.
