Job Description

Our Graduate Training Programme will provide you with a first-class platform from which to launch your surveying career.

It has been designed to ensure that you are able to demonstrate the required level of knowledge, skills, and behaviours associated with becoming an RICS qualified surveyor.

This structured programme focuses on the completion of the Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) through the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) for a Commercial pathway.

Graduate Surveyors will benefit from having an opportunity to build their experience across a wide range of services and specialisations that will help them gain a better understanding of the commercial real estate industry as a whole. The rotation scheme consists of one 12 month rotation and two 6 month rotations.

For our Commercial Property vacancies, we welcome applications from candidates who already have, or are predicted to obtain, a RICS accredited degree. Please note that this is not a requirement for our non-cognate Commercial Property London vacancy.

 

Responsibilities of a Graduate Surveyor

Professional Work

To provide all members of the Business Group team with support for their professional work.

To undertake all assessment requirements from both Colliers International and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors so that professional accreditation is obtained within the required period.

To conduct professional work for clients, and ensure that all relevant reporting requirements meet agreed deadlines in accordance with RICS regulatory compliance standards, to ensure that work is conducted within Colliers International Best Practice standards.

Client Contact     

To deal with client queries when necessary and ensure they are dealt with in a professional and proactive manner.

To maintain contact with clients and client coordinators so that the client relationship can be managed effectively and efficiently.

Contribution to Financial Targets

To generate fee income to meet team and Business Group targets, and to provide new ideas for the generation of fee income.

Business Development

To seek opportunities to develop new business, including cross-selling and identification of new business.
