Job Description

Reporting to the Head of Property Management you will be responsible for business development and client management across the department. The team manage a diverse range of assets for a variety of clients across the country and as such, you will have responsibility for the following services:

Bids & Pitching

  • Leading all formal tenders / pitches within the department, working closely with Directors and the Bid Team to deliver tenders in a timely manner and to the highest quality.
  • Supporting the department with informal pitches and fee proposals
  • Attend client pitches, presentations, and meetings on a regular basis

Business Development & Marketing

  • Host bi-weekly Business Generation Meetings and develop pipeline of new business opportunities for department
  • Work closely with Marketing, PR and Digital teams to deliver external and internal messaging for department.
  • Deliver New Business Academy training sessions to rising stars within the department.
  • Responsible for the maintenance of the Business Development Pipeline tracker, used by Head of Department for Board-level reporting.
  • Attend and contribute to monthly EMEA Business Development calls with Property Management leads from across Europe.

Client Management & Cross-selling

  • Run Key Client Programme for department, an engagement programme for our top clients and support Head of Department in the client feedback process.
  • Work with UK Head of Client Engagement to support growth of the Colliers client programme and focused marketing around our clients that are on the programme
  • Proactively engage with and seek out opportunities with other Colliers departments to drive cross-selling throughout our business. Including attending and contributing to monthly business development meetings with colleagues across the company.

Qualifications

  • Qualified to MRICS or have experience in real estate industry
  • Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
  • Prior experience of delivering in a client facing role
  • Creative and ability to think outside the box for pitches
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Have experience with or knowledge of investors and landlords within the real estate industry
  • Be a team player with a positive attitude
