Job Description

This is a key opportunity to develop and maintain our Microsoft Dynamics database daily, to ensuring all records are kept up-to-date and that necessary documents are stored correctly. Working with the UK-wide administration team you will co-ordinate the updating of information and to provide reports when requested. You will understand the database in depth and troubleshoot issues and implement database recovery procedures and safety protocols.

Main Responsibilities will include: 

  • Improving the effectiveness of the database tools and services.
  • Maintain data ensuring up-to-date and ready for ad-hoc reporting.
  • Producing reports from the system as required.
  • Perform large-scale uploads and downloads.
  • Monitoring database performance on a regular basis. 
  • Working with the database developers to report issues, implement best practice and changes. 
  • Restoring lost data.
  • Monitoring data entry procedures.
  • Keep abreast of relevant technological developments and working with system developers to continually improve and develop the system.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience with MS Dynamics preferred
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills
  • Advanced proficiency in structured query language
  • Ability to learn database technologies
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
