Job Description

To provide a comprehensive Rate Account Management role within the Rating Team and to contribute in the success of the Department.

Accurately maintain the River Lake property management database for a specific client portfolio.


 Make changes to River Lake including allowances and occupational status updates.


 Produce and send letters and emails to billing authorities.


 Log all refunds received on a daily basis.


 Provide payment remittances to local authorities via email.


 Data clean-up exercises on excel and River Lake.


 Checking and processing business rate demands.


 Telephoning and emailing billing authorities regarding refunds, reminders, final notices and court summons.


 Open, scan and distribute post.


 General office duties.


 Assistant the Client Relationship Director and Senior Rate Account Manager in their day-to-day responsibilities.


 To carry out any other reasonable management requests.


 To be aware of and comply with company and statutory requirements regarding health and safety, fire and hygiene.

 

Qualifications

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal


 A professional and flexible approach to work load
 Must be a team player with a positive and helpful attitude towards work colleagues
 Must be able to work on own initiative
 Eager to learn and develop skills
 Competent in Microsoft Excel and Word
