Job Description

To accelerate our EMEA 2025 Enterprise plan, Colliers will drive further efficiency, productivity, profitability and business growth across EMEA Operations. We are seeking a Director of Operations & Performance to support the EMEA COO in the delivery of the growth agenda and to work with the EMEA team and country business units to optimise our platform for our people.

The Director of Operations & Performance will assist the COO in identifying opportunities across the business to increase profitability and improve efficiency by building effective working relationships at all levels and connecting fee earners to regional resources. This will require analyzing business operations, financial and non-financial data, assessing performance, advising on improvements, and delivering outcomes to ensure that the right structures are in place to accelerate success and deliver our regional performance and growth strategies.

The role will support the EMEA COO in the delivery of:

  • EMEA Enterprise Business Strategy & Planning: Ensuring business planning is efficient, effective and delivering value add, accountability and action.
  • Growth Priorities:  Implement progress management approach for the EMEA growth priorities.  

  • Operations Performance: Define and implement OKR reporting model (objectives & key results) for all countries. Advise on pragmatic solutions to drive KPI’s, productivity and to have a single view of data.

  • Metrics: Define and monitor relevant metrics, returns on investment (ROI), and key performance indicators (KPIs) to proactively diagnose and address operational performance

  • Partner with Finance to understand variances in actuals, forecast performance challenges, proactively develop action plans.

  • Productivity enhancement: Ensure that the right programs and structures are in place to accelerate the success of our people and deliver against regional growth goals i.e.

  • Review and implement operational improvements - Strategic improvements and tactical improvements to improve EBITDA and revenue per FTE.
  •  
  • Productivity of fee earners – increase output and projects per year with improved processes and tools.
  • Business Services: Bring together all operational KPI metrics (across finance, IT, HR, Marketing) and work with all functions.

  • M&A Integration: Integration of acquisitions to ensure economies of scale and value capture

  • EMEA Portfolio of premises- OPEX & CAPEX - Client & Employee Experience, Brand Positing - Finance, Workplace, Legal.

  • Change Management: Promote Colliers values and drive thoughtful and effective change management across the region.

  • Innovation & Improvement: Keep abreast of the latest developments, ensure that the business maintains its competitive position. Continuously identify and implement new processes, technologies, and workflows that add value to the business

  • Best Practice: Develop best practice working groups across the region

     

Qualifications

  • 10 Years of demonstrable operations performance improvement experience

  • Business Qualifications: MBA / Finance / Accountancy

  • Operations Qualifications: Lean / Six Sigma / Agile / PRINCE

  • Ability to simplify complex problems and move forward

  • Solution orientated and commitment to excellence

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Relationship builder

  • High level of personal responsibility, energy, integrity, optimism, and judgment

  • Ability to maintain a positive approach under pressure
