CCS provide services in the areas of strategy, acquisitions, divestments, M&A, build-to-suit, purchase and sale to leaseback, corporate and structured finance and major lease projects.

Following significant success across 2019 and as part of our strategic objective to recruit the very best talent, we are seeking for a Senior Analyst at an associate director level to join the team here at Colliers

Job Description

The main responsibilities of this role will include, but will not be limited to: 

  • Leading capital markets transactions from strategy to completion across multiple asset classes and geographies throughout EMEA;
 
  • Predicting long/short-term performance of commercial investment opportunities and advising clients on long and medium-term performance of potential and current investments across their EMEA interests;
 
  • Reporting the implications of long-term investment opportunities, utilising external and internal data and communicating them clearly to all stakeholders, facilitators and partners via presentations and the use of excel and appropriate software as required;
 
  • Preparing pro forma models for all potential acquisitions and relevant deals, as assigned by the Directors and clients where appropriate
 
  • Keeping up to date with financial products, legislation and requirements for compliance with the relevant regulatory authority.
 
  • Creating and managing bespoke financial models in Excel adopting best practice techniques including both cash and P&L analysis;
 
  • Analysing and underwriting investment and development opportunities;
 
  • Attending client meetings as required and presenting financial outputs in a clear and concise manner;
 
  • Bringing an innovative approach to enhance our best practice processes; and
  • Managing client relationships and generating new business opportunities

 Key Skills

  • Advanced capabilities in Excel and developing bespoke complex IRR, EM, DCF and P&L models
 
  • High quality presentation skills in PPT
 
  • Understanding of corporate balance sheet and P&L as well as investment and development sectors
 
  • In depth knowledge of capital markets and deal structuring involving funds, developers and private equity
 
  • Understanding of debt and equity throughout the capital stack and how to maximise returns
 
  • Be able to work well as part of a team as well as independently
 
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to create and eager to develop effective relationships with stakeholders and fellow team members within the EMEA capital markets function
 
  • Thrive working to deadlines within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Qualifications and experience

Real estate investment or finance qualification, CFA level 1-3 would be beneficial

Additional Information

Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 per year, depending on experience
