The Hospitality Asset Management team provides specialist advice to owners and developers of hotels including during the acquisition process and in the on-going asset management of the hotels.

The UK business is headquartered in London, with 700 specialists throughout 11 offices across the UK and Ireland.

This role would include involvement in hotels throughout Europe.

The primary purpose of this role is to:

  • Optimize the value of the hotel/portfolio for the owner(s).
  • Manage several Client hotels’ to optimize performance.
  • Oversee the results of managers in optimizing the operating potential of hotel assets, in order to maximize value.
  • Maintaining the best economic interests of the owner whilst working with the operator to maintain brand standard.
  • Carefully tracking hotel management trends.
  • Searching for additional revenues from traditional and non-traditional sources, and operational synergies to reduce costs.
  • Analyzing and benchmarking each property against portfolio/benchmark performance.
  • Assisting as appropriate in the development of annual operating and capital expenditure budgets.
  • To conduct production of reporting & analysis of hotels performance.
  • To conduct Market and Financial Feasibilities for both new and existing projects.
  • To conduct Hotel Operator Searches.
  • To conduct Management & Operating Strategy.
  • Assisting hotel teams in the budgeting & forecasting for the businesses.
  • Contributing to the team in the monthly review of performance at several hotels.
  • Accurate and timely production of financial reports and associated information.
  • Contributing to the Hospitality Asset Management team in the analysis of operational and financial information involved in the potential acquisition of hotels by clients.
  • Contributing to the Hospitality Asset Management team in the review of operational results and forecasts for hotels under asset management contracts from clients.
  • To maintain contact with clients and Client Co-ordinators (the director) so that the client relationship can be managed effectively and efficiently

Qualifications

  • Must possess very good written and verbal communication skills
  • Be able to work well as part of a team as well as independently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to create effective relationships with stakeholders including clients.
  • Thrive on working to deadlines within a fast-paced environment.
  • Possess practical senior experience of an asset management function.
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Must possess excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Be motivated to progress in their career.
  • Must possess sound IT skills, particularly MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
