Job Description
This exciting opportunity is a fully seconded Surveyor role to a leading technology client based in Reading, UK, with over 390 leases ad 3 million sqft of space across a number of asset classes.
The role requires someone able to provide and deliver excellent professional advice and service. This role will support four EMEA Managers of real estate, focusing on but not limited to:
Transactions: completing key transactions within agreed terms, schedules and internal processes
Lease Management: regular updates on critical dates, tracking progress and managing document flows
Your responsibilities will also include:
Transactions
Managing final engagements with agencies/brokers on an assignment by assignment basis as required.
Managing agency/broker activities using standarized format and methology.
Managing timely transaction process to coordinate availability of information.
Developing deliverables containing relevant forms and format for key activities, e.g. new lease, renewal, sublease, sale etc.
Developing standard financial analysis model via regional managers, agent/brokers to support business cases.
Transactions:
Leases
Assisting in the preparation of lease documents, using forms provided or approved by clients legal department where applicable
Supporting and monitor legal activity during preparation of documents through to transaction completion.
Checking and verify that lease database and clients tracking is updated accordingly.
Process
Assist in the preparation and submission of all Contract Approval Sheets(CAS) forms internally
Support EMEA GRE Regional Managers as indicated on the attached flow chart.
Request approved shopping carts/ PO’s via GRE SRM team
Qualifications
Experience providing administrative support for lease transactions
Ability to complete transactions within agreed terms, schedules and internal processes
Experience in providing regular updates on critical dates, tracking progress and managing document flows
Support during review of transactional documents for Legal, Risk Management, EHS and other departments as required.
Prepare appropriate funding documents to obtain financial approval before the final execution of any transaction.
