Job Description

As a Senior Controller, you are part of the core business. We have financial controlling as part of our portfolio of real-estate management services offered to our clients. This means that controllers are not just a support function for others, but a part of our daily core business. You will be dealing with both domestic and foreign real estate investors. We expect excellent communication skills both in Finnish and English as well as customer-oriented thinking. If problem-solving and learning new things are your thing, you will fit in perfectly with this role.

Senior Controller plays a significant role with us, where you respond to our clients' needs with your expertise and are at the front-end of our service delivery. The work scope of this role includes a customer reporting responsibility and a clear coordinating role for all financial services delivery. However, you are not alone, but with the support of a great professional financial services team. Also, you will participate in customer meetings where you plan and discuss the service scope for your customer, including all of our services.

You will manage our clients' statutory accounting and tax matters together with our Financial Services Team. Comprehensive monthly reporting involves an increasing amount of management reporting; our customers value that. Also, you are responsible for the coordination of the customer's budgeting and forecasting processes. Acting as an advisor in accounting and reporting related topics is part of your daily tasks.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years of progressive management accounting or financial controlling experience.

  • Demonstrated ability to work with computer applications such as Excel and accounting & reporting systems. Power BI knowledge is an asset.

  • A Bachelor's / Master's degree in Management Accounting, Finance, MBA or similar is required.

  • Experience in the Group / IFRS accounting and real estate business are considered to be an advantage.

  • You are service-minded, result-oriented and able to work as part of a team and as an individual. Analytical mindset, the ability to perceive the complexities and the skill of focusing on tasks in a fast-paced work environment is part of your strengths.
