Due to recent growth in our business across the region, we are looking to further grow our capability in Asia. This transformation has led for the need to source an aspiring commercial real estate project management professional to be based in Hong Kong.

Job Description

Key Areas of Responsibilities:

Hong Kong Project Specific Duties

  • On-Site Project Management support assisting the Project Manager and the Project Director as and when required
  • Support the Project Manager and the Project Director with project coordination and project controls
  • Provide general financial administration services relating project budget control, financial analysis, billings and invoice processing
  • Maintain an up to date project delivery schedule and tracking project deliverables to ensure that they are completed on time
  • Attend project meetings and take Meeting Minutes including details of any decisions, deliverables (inc. ownership/responsibility), timing/commitments and pro-actively follow up on Meeting Minute deliverables with responsible parties to ensure timely completion and closure
  • Provide general administration support function including maintaining project filing systems and project documentation, change management support, contract administration etc.
  • Responsible for the development and issuance of project reporting
  • Take ownership of the project close out process to ensure defect rectification is coordinated and completed, that project final accounts are in place, that As-Built documentation is completed and issued and that Operations & Maintenance manuals are accurate, inclusive and signed for by the client stakeholder
  • Any other administrative support functions that may be deemed necessary for the successful delivery and completion of any given project

Project Management Department Duties

  • Support the team’s general administration duties including but not limited to the processing of expenses, travel and accommodation bookings and general meeting / calendar planning support
  • Provide general presentation and document preparation support for any client pitches, RFP responses, networking or business development type requirements
  • Set up and own a consultant, contractor and supplier database and library including company brochures, capability statements, up to date contact information etc.
  • Any other ad hoc duties assigned by the team head

Qualifications

  • University graduate, preferably in Real Estate, Project Management or related discipline
  • Formal project management training is preferred
  • 3-5 years solid track records and experience in running projects, candidates with more experience will be considered as Project Manager.
  • Problem solving and analytical ability to generate information that provides sound business decisions.
  • Experience in assisting the team to deliver international quality projects in distant markets using in-house or third party providers is an added value.
  • Proven participation in development planning and execution experience, and able to adapt these skills in a fast paced environment requiring close interaction with clients and colleagues
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken English.
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
