The Data Analyst/SQL Programmer role requires an individual with strong skills in working with large data sets which require analysis to help drive to various conclusions for our clients.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate core competencies in the following areas:

• Conduct data analysis, align, or establish relationships across disparate data sets.
• Interpret data, discuss, and refine business requirements and produce design and implementation specifications.
• Analyze requirements to be able to determine and recommend appropriate solutions for business problems
• Demonstrates critical thinking by reviewing numbers and calculations, data trends and driving to conclusions across data sets
• Work closely with business unit personnel to present findings or translate data to understandable solutions for clients.
• Manage Data Warehouse:
  • Create all client data load packages for the DW
  • ETL management for DW
  • Work closely with data providers on data integration
  • Create queries as required for the DW
  • Support Client integrations
• Fix defects identified by business or client community
• Develop enhancements such that they can be utilized by one-to-many clients
• Quality Assurance Testing
  • Review and analyze system specifications
  • Execute test cases and analyze results
  • Evaluate product code according to specifications
  • Report bugs and errors to development teams
  • Help troubleshoot issues
  • Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle

• Must have experience in data modeling, analysis, and testing
• A minimum of 3-5 years related work experience
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
• Working knowledge of SQL, MS SQL Server
• Working knowledge of MS Visual Studio/SSIS
• Basic knowledge of PowerShell and python
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• An analytical mind and inclination for problem solving
• Demonstrate Business Intelligence solution experience (Qlik preferred)
• Ability to conduct business analysis and requirements gathering
• Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role
• Experience integrating data sources through ETL’s and API’s
