Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

With the direction from the Associate Director for People and Performance and coordination with the People and Performance Team in Manila:

Employee and Labor Relations 

  • Serves as link between management and employees by handling questions, grievances, and other employment issues.
  • Administers disciplinary procedures in coordination with the concerned immediate head of staff
  • Advise managers and staff on organizational policies
  • Provides current and new employees with information about policies, job duties, working conditions, wages and employee benefits
  • Represents the organization at personnel-related hearings and investigations
  • Organize events such as team building, out for good, Christmas Party, Monthly-themed events, etc.

Compensation and Benefits

  • DTR validation and checking.
  • Coordinate with the compensation and benefits supervisor on the processing of all benefits due to employees
  • Facilitates timely enrolment of the company medical benefit (HMO) for Cebu employees
  • Check and validate ATM and Cash payroll, Assist in releasing salaries for employees who have no ATM Cards
  • Monitors facilitation and processing of employee benefits (Such as bereavement assistance, Emergency Cash Advances, etc.)
  • Generation and distribution of payslips

With the assistance of the Recruitment Manager he/she will be supervising the recruitment associate the following under recruitment.

Talent Acquisition and Retention

Advertises, recruits, interviews, administers tests and endorses qualified candidates to the hiring managers

  • Prepares job offer / employment contracts
  • Conducts employee orientation
  • Conducts exit interviews
  • Submit weekly recruitment report to the Recruitment Manager
  • Oversee on-boarding activities (including 201 creation and requirements completion)

Learning and Development

  • Identify the employees/department training needs.
  • Recommend trainings offered by providers based on the employees/department requests.
  • Coordinate with the registration or enrolment of the employees with the training providers.
  • Prepare internal training request form, service obligation contract and payment requests to finance.
  • Maintenance and upkeep of training trackers, copy of certificates, service obligation and official receipts related to trainings.
  • Enrolment of employees in Colliers University and assigning Mandatory Anti-Bribery Training to all employees.

Performance Management

  • Monitoring of 3rd and 5th Month Evaluation of New Hires
  • Processing of Regularization Memo
  • Maintenance and upkeep of MyPlan (People Plus)

In assistance to the Director for Real Estate Management he/she will be handling:

General Administrative Functions:

  • Petty Cash Custodian and cash advances exceeding P1,000
  • Purchasing and Payments processing: utilities, supplies, vendors
  • Documents management
  • Facilitate business permit renewal, BIR updates (change of address, receipt of book off account)
  • Facilitate vehicle registration, insurance, etc.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of Psychology or Human Resource Management 
  • At least 5 years solid experience in Human Resource Management
  • Hands on experience on benefits administration and labor relations  
  • Team player with good interpersonal, communication & organizational skills who performs well under pressure 
  • Excellent written and spoken English 
  • Knowledgeable in MS Office applications 
  • With Knowledge on Human Resource Information System
