Job Description

To develop Colliers Hotels’ Valuation and Advisory practice presence across China. The focus of the role will be to develop client relations and to promote Colliers’ Consultancy, Valuation Services (VS), Hotel Agency/Brokerage, and other services, as well as to generate new business and new client contacts as appropriate. To work in conjunction with Hotel Consultants and Valuers in Asia, and with our Agency colleagues in China and elsewhere.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • To develop Colliers Hotels presence and fee generation opportunities;
  • To work efficiently to a very high standard with a minimum of supervision;
  • To control client relations and client contact during the life of an assignment;
  • To plan, request and manage the input of senior management, as required by the assignment;
  • To contribute to the development of Colliers Hotels operating procedures and practices;
  • To present Colliers as a professional organisation with the highest standards of excellence and client care;
  • To develop relations with existing clients, and with new and potential clients;
    To assist in the selling of valuation and consulting work, and to sell valuation and consulting work directly;
  • To manage, and undertake hotel related and integrated developments valuation and consulting work across China, and from time to time further afield.

Qualifications

  • Qualified valuer, approved and licensed by relevant local authorities to undertake commercial valuations.
  • Knowledge of other Asian languages.
  • International experience.
  • Professional experience in a hotel operating environment.
  • (ideally in management - front office, revenue management, marketing, finance)
  • Minimum of 7 years’ professional experience as a hotel operator, consultant or analyst within China region.
