People & Performance Director | Greater China Head

Job Description

Due to recent growth in our China operations and an internal restructure, we are sourcing a Director of People and Performance (Greater China HR Head). Working closely with the Asia COO, China  and Hong Kong Managing Directors and Regional People and Performance Leaders, this newly created position is tasked with driving the strategic direction of the Human Resource functions across the Greater China business.

Key areas of responsibility include managing and steering performance of people through change management, adoption of HR standards and systems, introduction & implementation of learning & development programs, recruitment and talent benchmarking, along with the below:   

Talent Acquisition

* Work with the local management in preparing the headcount plan.

* To drive down the use of agency use and focus on direct sourcing partnering with regional staffing.

Talent Management

* Work with MD and regional P&P in leveraging the regional learning & development roadmap including management development.

* To execute the regional learning and development roadmap at the local level.

* Work with MD and regional P&P in leveraging learning & development platform to support career development and drive employee retention.

Human Resource Business Partner

* Partner with MD, regional P&P & HODs in providing the right P&P service platform to drive for business success.

* Consulting with management at the strategic level for high level business alignment.

Human Resource Standardisation

* Establish the right compensation strategy to support for the talent acquisition and management initiatives.

* Ensure the right level of P&P policy and procedures are put in place and well communicated.

* Drive a consistent employee communication strategy to facilitate better employee relations.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will have the following competencies:

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in HR.
  • Degree or relevant qualifications.
  • Ideally exposure to the real estate industry.
  • A proven people leader, with strong HR transformation experience.
  • A strategic thinker and ability to inspire and lead.
  • Knowledge of HR software and systems.
