Job Description

We’re looking for a seasoned and inspiring Associate Director/Director to lead our Facilities Management team across Victoria.

This is a pivotal leadership role where you’ll combine strong technical expertise with exceptional people leadership to drive performance, build capability, and deliver best-in-class outcomes for our clients. You’ll play a key role in shaping the future of our facilities offering through a people-first, client-focused approach.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead and mentor Facilities Managers, fostering a high-performance, accountable team culture across Victoria
  • Drive team development, succession planning, and performance management, with a strong focus on capability building and engagement
  • Provide technical leadership across building operations, compliance, safety, and asset performance
  • Partner with clients and internal stakeholders to deliver consistent service excellence and operational efficiency
  • Oversee procurement strategies, capital works, and risk management, ensuring best practice and continuous improvement
  • Act as a trusted advisor, confidently representing Colliers across client, contractor, and industry interactions
  • Directly managing the FM service delivery across a few properties

Qualifications

  • Proven leadership experience in facilities or property management within complex or multi-site portfolios
  • Strong people management capability, with a track record of coaching, developing, and leading high-performing teams
  • Solid technical understanding of building operations, compliance, safety, and risk frameworks
  • Commercially astute with the ability to drive strategic outcomes and influence stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering, facilities management, project management or experienced FM’s with trade qualifications
