Job Description

We are seeking an Associate Director to National Director level valuation professional to specialise in the Commercial Office asset class. You will work closely with our highly respected QLD & National Valuation Team, with the opportunity to value some of Brisbane’s largest assets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead business development activity for the Office asset class in Queensland
  • Proactively drive team culture in line with our Values and Mission Statement
  • Enhance the customer experience, ensuring we always deliver memorable service
  • Identify trends and opportunities to expand our business and lead our industry into the future
  • Provide a specialised property valuation and advisory service within established parameters
  • Target marketing initiatives and client engagement strategies
  • Manage client delivery platforms
  • Undertake valuations within own sector / market
  • Maintain commercial property market awareness
  • Extract and appropriately analyse comparable transaction evidence
  • Seek and refer opportunities to other geographic locations and product lines
  • Actively participate in product line meetings, seminars, and workshops
  • Meet individual and team budgeted revenue monthly and follow up debtors
  • Complete necessary documentation to enable timely and accurate invoicing
  • Mentor and support junior team members in their career development

Qualifications

To succeed in this challenging position, you will require the following:

  • Tertiary qualification / property related degree and Certified Practicing Valuer accreditation
  • Minimum Associate Member of the API (or ability to gain membership)
  • Valid Australian drivers’ license
  • Show property risk awareness and adhere to and understand our in-house quality assurance methodology Colliers Assure
  • Problem solving and analytical ability to generate information that provides sound business decisions
  • Commercial awareness of the formulation and implementation of strategy
  • Superior analytical and written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build strong business relationships with key internal and external contacts
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
