Job Description
- Consult with IP&S on accounting treatment of revenue recognition for pending and closed customer contracts. Develop deep understanding of products and services to drive consistent approach across the organization. Document accounting determinations.
- Develop and implement processes for transition to IFRS 15.
- Manage and perform goodwill impairment work.
- Work closely with controllership and finance team members to ensure consistent and timely implementation of accounting policies.
- Monitor and interpret guidance provided by authoritative accounting standard setting bodies, such as IASB,IFRIC and FASB
- Ensure adequate internal controls are in place to meet Sarbanes Oxley requirements.
- Help ensure that the Company’s financial results are accurately reported from an external reporting perspective
- Work with internal and external auditors
- Manage staff as required
- Designation of CPA is preferred. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and at least 7 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Typically reports to top management.
