Job Details:

The Parts Intercept Specialist is responsible for using systems to identify calls with potential to order parts before a Service Technician first visits the consumer’s home, call the consumer to verify issue and appliance make/model, and place order for the part on behalf of the technician.  

Essential Responsibilities:

• Identify future-scheduled service calls with potential for Parts Intercept based on call description

• Call consumer to verify issue and appliance’s make/model number

• Research and order appropriate part for repair

• Work with Field Service Technicians and management to drive first time call completion

• Meet productivity and efficiency goals as established

• Prompt and regular attendance

Qualifications/Requirements:

• HS Diploma or GED

• Technical or mechanical experience 

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong PC skills

• Self-directed 

• Appliance repair experience

Desired Characteristics:

• Demonstrated understanding of the fundamentals of electricity and schematics

• Customer service experience
