Position Summary(program supporting/general position overview): 

• This PL-SQL Developer position will be in support of the Department of Transportation in a fast-paced, high-energy, large program to transform and modernize legacy software systems through the re-engineering of business processes to meet futuristic customer demands. 

• Through this effort, will be responsible for full system development life cycle, migration of legacy systems to the cloud, and the re-engineering of legacy processes into a business-driven enterprise solution.

Primary Responsibilities:  

• Support of all engineering and design associated with the update and extension of existing PL/SQL based applications in support of a new initiative.  

• This will include the modification of PL/SQL Packages that implement user experience, web services, business logic and data maintenance associated with a portfolio of legacy applications to a Java based application.  

• Strong experience with developing large scale enterprise level Oracle 11g and/or 12c based applications.

Minimum Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s Degree

• 5 years of job related experience 

Additional Desired Qualifications:

• Past experience supporting Oracle development and hosting environments. 

• Experience with Oracle 11/12 RDBMS.

• Past experience transforming logical into physical data models.

• Experience with data analysis, transformation and cleansing process associated with application modernization efforts.
