Job Description
• Expert level experience with applicable design tools (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite) – 4-7 years.
• Expert level experience within User-centered visual and interaction design principles – 4-7 years.
• Work experience in a team environment – 4-7 years
• Experience facilitating design workshops and informal teams – 4-7 years.
A strong candidate will also have:
• Experience with JavaScript and common libraries such as jQuery.
• Experience working in a UX role or on a UX team.
• Experience with usability testing and research methodologies such as direct observation interviews, focus groups, and card sorting.
• Experience with responsive design and/or phone and tablet interface design.
• A strong passion for proven and emerging interaction and UI design patterns.
• Experience negotiating with stakeholders to drive an intentional design philosophy
Qualifications
• Strong creative and visual design background including web, user interface, and graphic design.
• Fluency with design tools including Adobe Fireworks, Photoshop and Dreamweaver.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver clean and usable digital interfaces while applying visual brand guidelines. Experience with core web UI development languages including HTML and CSS.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to lead design discussions and workshops.
• Ability to manage multiple projects at once while quickly shifting focus and maintaining strong attention to detail.
