Job Title: Web Developer

Duration: 12+ months

Location: Sewickley, PA

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain quality code, create unit tests, and fix bugs in an development environment

• Tests new programs to ensure that logic and syntax are correct, and that program results are accurate; assists lower-level programmers with programming assignments

• Constructs workflow charts/diagrams and documents code consistently throughout the development process by listing a description of the program, special instructions, and any changes made in database tables on procedural, modular and database level

Skills –Required:

• Proven working experience in web development (3+ years)

• Adequate knowledge of relational database systems, Object Oriented Programming and web application development (3+ years)

• A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices(3+ years)

• Experience with Web Services (SOAP and REST)

• Hands on experience with technologies including XML and XSLT, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and ASP.NET

• Knowledge of IIS

• Experience with version control (i.e. TFS)

Skills – Preferred:

• Experience developing software using Agile development methodology

• Experience integrating with cloud based offerings hosted in MS Azure or other cloud platforms
