Job Description

Colby Community College is accepting applications for a Physical Therapist Assistant program instructor. Position is full-time, nine-month, with some summer hours possible. The instructor is responsible for classroom and laboratory teaching for freshmen and sophomore classes, curriculum development and assessment, and assisting with accreditation criteria. Good organizational skills and the ability to work with a diverse student population required. Participation in various professional activities, such as actively serving on program advisory committees with area businesses, recruiting and advising students is expected. Must understand the importance of technology, integrity, innovative thinking, and ability to work as a team to increase enrollment in a rural setting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s, master’s, or doctorate in PT and Kansas licensure or eligibility required.
  • Previous clinical education experience with students and some classroom teaching experience preferred.
  • Willingness to mentor future PTAs as a professional role model.
