Coffman Engineers is seeking an Electrical Drafter/Designer with 4+ years of experience in lighting, power, and telecommunication system design for commercial and industrial facilities for our Denver Office. The successful candidate will have a desire to work and grow with a multidiscipline engineering team, and experience that ranges from preliminary design through construction.

• Technical or Associate degree in electrical engineering, electrical design, or drafting/CAD field.
• Four plus years of experience in drafting and design for electrical design.
• Strong knowledge of industry standards and practices, including planning, permitting, design, and construction phases.
• Possess advanced knowledge in AutoCAD and 2D/3D modeling in Revit.
• Technical experience with preparation of electrical site plans, lighting and power plans, light fixture schedules, panel schedules, mechanical equipment schedule, electrical details, calculations, and one-line diagrams.
• Working with counterparts in other offices to share workload when required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent time management skills.
• Experience with providing quality assurance of interim and final design packages, ensuring drawings meet client’s design standards.
• Experience with developing instrumentation and control design drawings is preferred but not required. 
• Experience with Bluebeam Revu, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

The expected annual salary range for this position is $67,000 - $80,000.
