Job Description

As part of the Group Risk team department (30 people spread across 7 regions and a central team of 15 people managing operational, financial and cyber risks) in a fast-changing environment, you will report to the Group Head of Operational Risk based in France in providing support on the following tasks:

The ROLE

As an Operational Risk Data Analyst, you will transform risk data into meaningful insights, develop impactful reporting solutions, and support decision-making at Group and regional levels. You will work closely with risk managers around the world, helping to monitor operational risks, improve data quality and enhance risk management practices across the organization.

Key mission & responsibilities

Dashboarding and Risk Reporting

  • Develop, maintain and enhance intuitive dashboards using Power BI (application used by more than 30 Risk Managers to monitor and update local controls and risk assessments), with reports developed and extracted from the eFront database, our GRC tool.
  • Produce monthly, quarterly and ad hoc operational risk reports.
  • Prepare reporting for the Coface Group Risk Committee, including materials, executive summaries, trend analyses and key indicators.
  • Contribute to presentations and meeting minutes.
  • Participate in UAT phases and provide business support for eFront, the tool used by all Risk Managers.
  • Perform upstream reviews and challenge data quality where necessary to ensure complete, accurate and meaningful committee materials.

Operational Incidents Analysis and Monitoring (Group and Regional Levels)

  • Assess reported incidents, including root causes, financial and operational impacts, severity and recurrence.
  • Ensure the quality, consistency and completeness of incident data.
  • Monitor corrective and preventive action plans.
  • Identify trends, correlations, concentrations, root causes and emerging risk patterns.

KRI and Risk Appetite Monitoring

  • Design, maintain and monitor Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and Key Control Indicators (KCIs).
  • Update existing Risk Appetite Indicators on a quarterly basis.
  • Maintain and update the Risk Appetite Framework and Risk Appetite Statement.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve risk measurement, reporting and data governance.
  • Contribute to risk analytics transformation initiatives, including the responsible use of AI and advanced analytics.

    Qualifications

    Your profile

    • Specialized Master's degree in ERP, Project Management, Computer Science or a related field.
    • Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including modeling, visualization and automation.
    • At least 5 years of experience in the financial sector, ideally within reporting, analytics, risk management or other control functions.
    • Knowledge of GRC tools (eFront or similar).
    • Ability to propose tailored and scalable solutions while meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality outputs.
    • Ability to understand reporting structures and translate business requirements into analytical solutions.
    • Fluent English.
    • You are rigorous, organized and motivated, with a strong analytical mindset. Experience working with cross-functional and international stakeholders will be a valuable asset in this role.
