Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and commercially focused Account Manager to join the team in our Dublin office. In this role, you will take ownership of a portfolio of SME Mid‑Market clients, strengthening strategic relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring a consistently high standard of customer engagement and delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Office based Account Management for a portfolio of SME polices, with a mix of brokered and direct policies
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned SME accounts, serving as the primary point of contact
  • Analyse client needs and provide expert advice on our products and services.
  • Identify and pursue cross-selling and upselling opportunities within your portfolio.
  • Conduct regular client meetings and negotiations at senior management level.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and prepare detailed reports on account progress;
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of solutions and resolve any client issues;
  • Identify and pursue cross-selling and upselling opportunities within your portfolio.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
  • To participate in projects and take on additional tasks, as and when required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or a related field;
  • APA Qualified or working towards accreditation (Insurance Institute of Ireland);
  • Experience working in a regulated environment and understanding of CBI requirements and compliance;
  • Strong understanding of the TCI landscape and business challenges;
  • Customer Service, ability to support the Coface mission of “Commit to your customer”;
  • Ability to develop personal and long-term relationships based on adaptation and negotiation skills;
  • Good understanding of risk underwriting and claims matters;
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and data analysis tools;
  • Accuracy, attention to detail;
  • Prioritization, determine importance of each task and allocate time accordingly;
  • Self-motivated with a high degree of personal responsibility and a hands-on mentality;
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment;
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
