Job Description

CoEnterprise is seeking an experienced Integration API Account Executive to join its growing Integration Sales Team. This person will work closely with prospects, existing clients and our technology partners (IBM, MuleSoft, etc) to drive territory sales. 
The ideal candidate will have a technical background with territory sales success. Strong people skills, business acumen, and technical selling experience are a must. This position will have a focus on relationship management and solution selling.

Role Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with existing customers
  • Cultivate new leads within the sales territory
  • Travel throughout the territory and visit customers on a recurring basis
  • Manage multiple accounts simultaneously
  • Maintain account and opportunity activities within our Sales CRM system to manage and prioritize sales opportunities
  • Develop, and demonstrate integration solutions and patterns, built on one (or more) of the solutions listed below: 
    • Dell Boomi Platform
    • MuleSoft
    • IBM API Connect
  • Ability to engage in discovery discussions with customers, solutions architects and development teams to maximize overall opportunity in establishing API Integration Platform as a key driver for customers/partners strategies along with working with sales teams to help manage, support, and prioritize sales opportunities
  • Develop, and present compelling demonstrations and prototypes of the integration solutions and engage in presales activities, perform discovery, needs gathering and requirement analysis for prospects, partners and customers
  • Clearly articulate the benefits of API Integration Solutions to all levels, including line of business managers and technical architects
  • Ensure proposed solution specifications meet the technical and business needs of the customer, provide input to other cross-functional departments pertaining to prospect requests and product enhancements as needed
  • Earn appropriate certification for talent development and for partnership compliance requirements
  • Experience in AWS or Azure Cloud development & deployment models
  • Nice to have Skills: Knowledge of data integration technology including SQL, IBM Sterling B2B Integrator (SI) / EDI Solutions, or other data integration services.
  • Good understanding of:
    • API Lifecycle management from design, creation, management, versioning, deprecation and retirement.
    • API Security and authentication models is required.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of and experience in the field of integration is a must
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar discipline
  • Have a combination of 2+ years of experience with designing and architecting technological solutions. Direct experience with Application Integration, EDI, ETL, API Design is a must
  • Have the willingness to continuously develop strong business acumen and technical expertise for complex and highly scalable technical architectures of enterprise applications and a broad understanding of SaaS technologies, and solutions
  • Evangelize, both internally and externally, the CoEnterprise vision and ensure we deliver world class solutions to our customers and partners with a purpose of making CoEnterprise an API Integration leader
  • Demonstrate strong domain knowledge with enterprise technologies including JSON, XML, SOA, ESB, MOM, JMS, SOAP/RESTful/oData APIs, B2B, Databases, EDI et al.
  • Listen to our customers, and then translate our customer needs to demonstrate quantifiable business value. Strong consultative selling acumen and success in prior roles.

Our headquarters is located in New York City (midtown location conveniently located near Penn Station, Port Authority and Times Square).

Position can be based in NYC or remote (US).
