We are seeking a Director, Sales & Business Development for our Product Division with an entrepreneurial mindset to turbo-charge our growth in the transportation/rail industry domain.

Job Description

As a sales leader, you will accelerate our growth in the business by leading execution for sales, business development, and revenue growth by acquiring new client relationships and driving business growth, focused on Regional and Short Line Railroads – high growth market segment!

Role & Responsibilities

  • Take ownership, identify and target new relationships in target Railroads and Transportation segment and to accelerate our growth by acquiring new clients
  • Expand our high-value, high-impact cloud-based products across CM suite 
  • Engage C-level leadership with customer organizations to position CM as the industry thought-leader delivering next generation technology solutions using Cloud, AI, Machine Learning, and Advanced Analytics
  • Seek out new prospects and build long-term relationships to grow the customer base
  • Collaborate with CEO, Sales & marketing leadership team to execute the sales strategy
  • Responsible for overall deal strategy, pursuit and closing of new business
  • Build and manage sales pipeline and forecasts

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in Transportation, Supply Chain, Information Technology, software, or a related industry
  • Prior experience in Enterprise application sales (like SAP, Oracle, GE Digital, Siemens Transportation or others) and business development,
  • 5+ years of experience in executive engagement, with a focus on sales to senior executives
  • Adaptable style that can fit diverse audiences (with varying technical backgrounds) 
  • Excellent communication skills including presentations, and written formats
  • A highly collaborative working style and ability to work with geographically distributed teams
  • Flexibility to travel within North America (50%+) and internationally, as required
