Job Description

  • Own the US accounting processes end-to-end, and financial reporting like P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
  • Conduct day-day accounting & bookkeeping in a system like QuickBooks.
  • Plan and get ready for upgrade to enterprise financial management system like Intacct, NetSuite or others
  • Implement Project-based accounting & cost-controls including global travel & expenses tracking/billing.
  • Partner with HR and three LOBs to further develop and manage all planning, forecasting, and reporting models and their continuous innovation and communicating with the senior leadership team.
  • Support growth into new US domestic markets in various states, including state income and business taxes.
  • Process payroll and related compliance for US and North America.
  • Develop and execute a plan for global accounting shared services.
  • Manage, inspire, and develop  accounting team in partnership with the CEO and Finance leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required.
  • MBA / CPA preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Accounting systems, MS Office applications, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing the accouting department, preferably in a startup SaaS company.
  • Demonstrated success developing and maintaining -company-wide budget/forecast processes and systems.
  • Detail oriented with a strong analytical skill.
  • Excellent project management skills and the ability to work at a fast pace on multiple projects.
  • Ability to work with all levels of management and with diverse teams, championing projects across the organization.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
