Railroads are modernizing and fast adopting best practices and digital technologies to optimize their business processes and compete effectively with alternate transportation options. As an expert with deep expertise in supply chain and transportation management you will lead pre-sales for our transportation management suite with the following responsibilities:  

• Engage as subject matter expert on railroad, transportation and cloud-based software solutions. Domain knowledge of railroads, transportation, logistics, or supply chain, manufacturing, or distribution will be preferred.
• Engage with prospects to understanding the business challenges and map it our products & solutions.
• Lead response to RFI, RFP, RFQ, RFx and proposal developments
• Lead customer facing presentations, solution envisioning, and proof of concepts (POCs)
• Hands-on expertise to identify use cases and lead software demonstration of cloud-based products. Pre-sales roles for supply chain management, ERP, business process management, as well as transportation will be relevant experience.  
• Present at industry/trade event participation, presentations, white papers, analyst briefings as needed.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure is preferred.
• Engage with engineering team, professional services, architecture and functional teams
• Quick learner, ability to multi-task, and work with global distributed teams. Open to travel internationally and domestically

• Minimum 5 years of IT industry experience with at least 3 years in presales or product management or solution design.
• Experience in Sales/ Pre-sales in the transportation or Logistics/ Supply chain domain.
• Hands-on experience in systems like locomotive management, railroad freight management, pricing revenue modules, Interline settlement, crew management, transportation management systems and/or any ERP is desired.
• Prior experience with enterprise software product companies (Oracle, SAP, ex-i2 / JDA, Infor, Manhattan Associates, GE, Siemens Transportation or similar), technology consulting or services companies.
• Engineering or MBA degree is preferred.
