This is not a generic functional analyst or application support role. We are specifically looking for someone with deep, hands-on experience configuring OAZIS in a Belgian hospital environment, particularly within the ADT and/or TARFAC domains. 

The successful candidate must be able to work autonomously in OAZIS: understand the business requirement, determine the appropriate configuration, implement it, test it, and support its validation and deployment.

You may be specialised in ADT, TARFAC, or both.

Your main responsibilities are: 

• Analyse business and operational requirements together with Patient Administration, Billing, IT and project teams.
• Translate requirements into concrete OAZIS configuration and parametrisation.
• Perform hands-on configuration within the OAZIS / ZORGI Care Admin environment.
• Analyse existing configuration and identify changes required to support target processes.
• Prepare and execute functional tests and support business validation / UAT.
• Troubleshoot configuration-related issues and identify root causes.
• Assess the impact of configuration changes on interfaces, downstream applications and hospital workflows.
• Work closely with integration, migration and application teams where configuration affects data exchanges.
• Support cutover preparation, go-live and post-go-live stabilisation.
• Document implemented configuration and transfer knowledge to the internal application team.

ADT profile

For candidates specialising in ADT, we are looking for solid practical knowledge of hospital patient administration processes such as:

• Patient identification and registration.
• Admissions, transfers and discharges.
• Inpatient, outpatient and emergency administrative flows.
• Hospital organisational structures, departments, units, rooms and beds.
• Encounter / admission types and associated administrative rules.
• Patient movement and administrative status management.
• Insurance / mutuality and administrative patient information.
• OAZIS master and reference data relevant to ADT.
• ADT exchanges with surrounding hospital systems.
• Understanding of HL7 ADT messaging and the impact of OAZIS configuration on interfaces.

TARFAC profile

For candidates specialising in TARFAC / hospital billing, we are looking for practical experience with:

• Belgian hospital tarification and billing processes.
• OAZIS / TarFac configuration and parameterisation.
• Billing and tariff rules.
• RIZIV / INAMI nomenclature.
• Patient, insurer and mutuality billing.
• Hospitalisation and ambulatory billing processes.
• Billing controls and validation rules.
• Corrections, credit notes and rebilling processes.
• Reference / master data affecting tarification.
• Configuration changes resulting from changes in Belgian healthcare regulation or nomenclature.
• Interfaces between TARFAC / OAZIS and financial, clinical or administrative systems.

Essential

• Several years of hands-on experience with ZORGI OAZIS / Care Admin in a Belgian hospital environment.
• Proven experience configuring or parametrising OAZIS in ADT and/or TARFAC.
• Ability to work independently in the application.
• Strong understanding of Belgian hospital administrative processes.
• Experience analysing, testing and troubleshooting complex application configuration.
• Ability to work with hospital business experts as well as IT and integration teams.
• Structured and pragmatic approach, with the ability to deliver under significant time pressure.

Strong assets

• Experience participating in an OAZIS implementation, migration or major reconfiguration project.
• Experience with multiple hospitals or different OAZIS implementations.
• Knowledge of HL7, particularly ADT messages.
• Knowledge of hospital interfaces and integration architecture.
• Detailed knowledge of Belgian hospital billing, RIZIV / INAMI rules and nomenclature.
• Previous experience working for ZORGI or in an OAZIS implementation / support team.

Languages

• Good command of French and/or Dutch is required.
• Ability to work professionally in English is an asset.
