**This role is a contract-to-hire role and at this time, due to COVID19 concerns and safety measures, this role will be remote/work from home.  

When the safety measures are lifted, and during the contract role, you are welcome to work remote with some travel to additional client sites for assisting with integrations and then will be located onsite in the Everett area after full time conversion to a permanent employee (when allowed to return to the office per recent shelter in place initiatives).  **

We are seeking a Web Application Developer for a contract-to-hire role in Everett, WA.  During the contract period,  there will be 1-2 weeks of travel per month to various locations (paid for by the client) and the other 2-3 weeks telecommuting with the ability to go permanent/full time onsite in the Seattle area when the permanent/full time conversion takes place. Once permanent and located onsite, there will be little to no travel associated with this role (Everett, WA based once safe to do so).  

In this role, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Writing well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
  • Creating website layout/user interfaces by using standard HTML/CSS practices
  • Integrating data from various back-end services and databases. 
  • Maintain WEB structures within the Supply Chain environment. 

 

Qualifications

  • Experience in Gathering and finalizing requirements
  • Proven working experience in web programming
  • Possess programming skills and in-depth knowledge of modern HTML/CSS
  • Familiarity with at least one of the following programming languages: PHP, ASP.NET, Javascript  
  • A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices
  • Adequate knowledge of relational database systems, Object Oriented Programming and web application development
  • Hands-on experience with network diagnostics, network analytics tools
  • Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimization process
