Job Description
We are seeking a Telecom Project Coorindator for a contract-to-hire opportunity in Everett, WA. In this role, you will be a valuable member of the order management team responsible for supporting the sales team with the timely delivery of high-value products and services sold. The duties of the role are as follows:
- Respond to simple order requests from customers, sales account team, agents and/or vendors, including validation of bills for service
- and arrangement for installation, disconnection or change of products and services.
- Responsible for managing daily maintenance of assigned accounts and processing service orders from various methods, i.e., STATS, E-Mail, Salesforce, etc.
- Process orders accurately, arrange and coordinate installation, negotiate due dates, validate provisioning is complete, set priorities to meet deadlines.
- Work closely with many interdepartmental groups to ensure provisioning of customer requests.
- Troubleshoot customer problems and help resolve customer concerns.
- Provide inbound call assistance to the sales account teams and their customers
- Work with contracts and termination liabilities as required. Access and review customer bills, process credits/debit adjustments, act on collection of delinquent bills.
- Establish and assess customer data, update, and/or retrieve customer information while simultaneously safeguarding that information.
Qualifications
- 3 year of Commercial customers support experience required
- 5 years of Telecommunications (ISP, MSO, Telcos) experience preferred
- A 4-year college degree in Communications, Management of Information Systems, Engineering, Math, Science discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience is required
- Strong organizational skills are required to project manage the workflow. Must have the ability to multi-task.
- Proficiency with the following systems: M6, DPI, Virtual Front Office, Salesforce, STATs, and a strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of products
- Experience with network monitoring (capacity, performance, ports utilization), network provisioning & activation and network fault management for Fiber, Ethernet, TDM/SONET networks would be preferred
- Experience with Fiber, Ethernet, TDM/SONET networks technology & protocols would be an asset but not required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all levels (team members, peers & senior management)
