We are seeking an SSRS Business Intelligence Analyst for a contract opportunity in Loveland, CO.  In this role, you will provide expertise in the design, development and support of business intelligence reports, with 60% of time spent on gathering report requirements, design and deployment, 30% on support and 10% on data model and ETL updates. The responsibilities in this role include business analysis and technical development of reports using relational and OLAP data structures. This position serves as a key resource in the support of end users and development of innovative BI solutions that meet the business requirements of each subject matter within the organization.  An understanding of dimensional data models, business intelligence reporting and software, SQL, good customer service and project management are required.

The Business Intelligence Reporting Analyst is responsible for the design, development, and deployment of SSRS and SSAS reports using data from a Microsoft SQL Server data warehouse and ERP.   Additional duties of this role are as follows:

• Translate business requirements into BI reporting solutions
• Understand the different levels of reporting, such as dashboards, crosstabs and transactional detail lists, in order to assist subject matter experts with the best BI output and drill-thrus
• Demonstrating iterative report prototypes to users and guiding them through effective testing to ensure data and model integrity
• Resolving technical and/or business problems
• Supporting the development of productive relationships with non-IT staff performing BI-related activities
• Supporting user security to the application, as well as, data security
• Cross train IT and non-IT areas on BI concepts and solutions
• Continuous improvement to data design, reports and/or processes

• Undergraduate degree in information technology, finance and/or related field is required
• 3-5 years DW/BI reporting experience
• Dimensional data modeling
• SQL querying skills
• SQL Server Reporting Services
• PowerBI
• Excellent communication skills and strong ability to gather and document requirements
• Ability to multi-task
