Started by ex-FCA disclosure group chair and tech entrepreneurs, ClearGlass is bringing much needed transparency to pensions. It's digital platform sits between pension funds and asset managers, providing pension scheme decision-makers with the tools and data that will help them invest consumers’ long-term savings into better value-for-money funds. 

Launched in Jan 2019, ClearGlass has added 450+ fund managers to its platform including the likes of BlackRock, Legal & General, Schroders and others. It has already served 30% of the 1bn+ pension funds market in the UK and counts GE, RBS, Royal Mail, Co-op and others as some of its blue-chip clients.

ClearGlass is hiring Quality Analyst to work closely with the Product-Data Team and the Tech Team to maintain the quality and reliability of the platform as well as the data while setting up a seamless issue reporting and resolution process.

An ideal Quality Analyst will be someone with diligent work ethics towards maintaining quality standards of each aspect of the platform and pro-actively reporting issues. 

Responsibilities

• Work with the Product and the Tech team to ensure quality in data collection, validation, and analysis.
• To assess functionality, reliability, performance, and quality of the product.
• Identify and report issues in the product pertaining to data, analysis, collection, and validation.
• Recommend, implement, and monitor preventative and corrective actions to ensure that quality assurance standards are achieved.
• Investigate customer complaints and product issues.
• Spot areas for improvement to enhance the product's efficiency.
• Prepare product documentation and specs

Essential Skills/Experience

1. You have 2+ years of experience in quality inspection, auditing, user-testing, and reporting.

2. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

3. Strong Excel Skills.

4. Meticulous attention to detail and numeracy focused.

5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Desirable Skills/Experience

1. Has worked with Sprint/Ticketing Tools (Jira/Trello).

2. Strong computer skills and knowledge of QA databases and applications.

3. Understands Agile Methodology

In the 1st 6 months you will achieve

1. Be able to thoroughly understand our product and the intricate calculations/logic

2. Document the existing functionalities as well as write future product spec - You'll own this part!

3. Quality control - rigorously testing both- the existing and the future developments as well as maintain the quality of data  for e.g. - Identifying duplicate users/stakeholders, incorrect cost and charges figures, etc.  

4. Setup a Bug reporting process/schedule - Work with the Business/Operations team to collect their feedback/issues and report it to the tech team 

5. Admin, Culture -  Help with setting up and managing a culture in our young team
