Started by ex-FCA disclosure group chair and tech entrepreneurs, ClearGlass is bringing much needed transparency to pensions. It's digital platform sits between pension funds and asset managers, providing pension scheme decision-makers with the tools and data that will help them invest consumers’ long-term savings into better value-for-money funds. 

Launched in Jan 2019, ClearGlass has added 450+ fund managers to its platform including the likes of BlackRock, Legal & General, Schroders and others. It has already served 30% of the 1bn+ pension funds market in the UK and counts GE, RBS, Royal Mail, Co-op and others as some of its blue-chip clients.

Job Description

ClearGlass is looking for a leader with experience in the investment management industry to lead the client success team. This is our first senior leadership hire on the sales and client relationship side.

You know how the investment consultants and the trustees buy services/ products, the sensitivities around decision making and can upsell and cross-sell ClearGlass' products. You have the experience and the confidence to champion ClearGlass in trustee meetings and also feed back client requirements to improve the product offering. Most importantly you believe that transparency is good for the industry and can adopt a data driven approach to sales.

Qualifications

Essential experience/skills

  1. Technical understanding of the investment management industry

  2. 4+ years of Sales and client facing experience

  3. Data driven approach and product centric mindset

  4. Experience of growing client account (Revenue targets and sales funnel management)

  5. Ambitious/ High achieving demonstrated through past experience

  6. People skills 

  7. Experience in hiring and leading a team

Desirable experience/skills

  1. 3-5 years of experience in investment consulting or asset management industry

  2. Experience both in the Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution industry

In the 1st 6 months you will achieve

  1. Build a strong culture of client success within the team 

  2. Lead client/ trustee meetings representing ClearGlass 

  3. Identify how clients want to buy the benchmarking product and provide feed back to the product team to achieve better product-market fit

  4. Expand and lead the client success team

  5. Build KPI dashboards for your team 

  6. Build systems and processes to increase client retention and happiness
