ClearGlass is a technology disruptor in the pension fund and asset management industry. Our vision is to bring transparency to the opaque world of pensions and asset management. We do this by providing pension scheme decision-makers with the tools and data that will help them invest consumers’ long-term savings into better value-for-money funds.

Since inception we have onboarded 300 of the largest pension schemes(RBS, GE, Royal Mail) in the UK as clients and has assessed £300Bn+ of assets. 

1. Build and lead a team of analysts and associates that work with asset managers in data collection and data analysis functions 
2. Develop strategic relationship with asset managers to streamline the data collection process in order to constantly use a product based approach than a service based approach. 
3. Mentor, hire and coach team to understand how diff asset classes work and how the data maps on to the framework
4. Develop systems ( liaising with the technology team) & processes in place to ensure the correctness and timeliness of the data
5. Ultimately, once a client has signed on-to ClearGlass and on-boarded on the platform you are responsible for overseeing the data collection & validation process to ensure timely delivery of reports.  
6. Working with the management team on new product development such as ESG reporting, performance reporting etc.

1. Hands on and a get-things-done attitude - This is a very hands on role where one needs to get their hands dirty and work with various stakeholders - both internal and external to get things over the line. 
2. Data and operations is at the heart of this role and you need to enjoy both. To be able to understand how to most efficiently collect data from the managers and validate/check those data points.
3. Able to build teams, hire people and inspire them to build one of the most important function within the company. Data and asset managers are at the core of what we do and every product we build in the future will be dependent on how good we are at it. I can't stress how important this role and person will be to the success of ClearGlass.
4. Product mindset - we are not looking at building another services company in this industry. We are looking for individuals who have a product mindset which means solving problems via product/ tech rather than necessarily adding more people.
5. Technical understanding of the asset management industry(must) - Someone who has either worked in operations, fund accounting or client reporting in asset management or investment consulting and understands two things

• How this industry works, what are the challenges and how to navigate it to get data from the asset managers
• How diff funds(asset classes) work, and how they map on to our template and nuances around it - strong technical understanding is a key to the success of this role

We are a completely ownership driven company, where we will share our problems, our goals and OKRs ( objectives and key results) and let you design the solution and implement them. As founders our role is to help you with what you need to succeed in your role within ClearGlass. Most of us are not asset managers or come from this industry but are passionate about the problem we are solving which means we are constantly innovating and finding new ways to solve the problems.

We used to be based in a Wework in the centre of London and Bangalore but because of Covid we have given up our office spaces and are completely remote till the end of 2020, which means you have the flexibility to work from wherever you like. Post 2020, its hard to say what things would look like but we are flexible at the moment if you wanted to keep things remote after wards as well. 

We will help you set-up your home office because that's important. 

We come together as a team couple of times a month ( remotely), share similar values and work hard for the success of ClearGlass.

Compensation for this role is £35,000-£50,000 + stock options.
