Clean Water Action is hiring Environmental Organizers in Northampton, MA, to advance campaigns addressing clean water access, affordability, climate change, and environmental justice. This is an opportunity to engage with the public, mobilize support for legislative reforms, and build a healthier, more equitable future.

As part of the team, you will:

  • Engage with communities to educate, fundraise, and mobilize support for Clean Water Action’s policy priorities, such as combating climate change, advocating for clean water affordability, and banning toxic chemicals.

  • Recruit and empower volunteers to amplify grassroots efforts.

  • Raise awareness and funds to sustain critical environmental and public health initiatives.

  • Advocate for bold legislative action to address systemic issues, including utility affordability and corporate accountability.

  • Passion for environmental and social justice issues.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Attention to detail and a commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion.

  • Interest in nonprofit work, grassroots organizing, or policy advocacy.

  • Multilingual candidates and those with backgrounds in Social Work, Sociology, Political Science, Public Health, Environmental Studies, or Communications are strongly encouraged to apply.

  • Fully vaccinated for COVID-19 (proof required)
