UX/UI Designer

Headquartered in Clifton, NJ, ClassLink is a leading education technology company serving schools around the world. We are looking for a UI/UX  designer to work in our New Jersey Office.

Description

The designer will collaborate with design team members on ideation and research and will work independently with developer teams to design and iterate upon responsive web UI that abides by existing design patterns and guidelines. The designer will also be responsible for maintaining technical design documentation.

Responsibilities

·         Complete analysis of requirements by auditing existing products and performing

·          competitive research.

·         Create data and user workflows.

·         Create visual mockups that can be easily translated into working products.

·         Explain design decisions and source feedback.

·         Advocate for user experiences and consistency in designs and interactions across

·          products.

Qualifications

·         Experience with prototyping tools (Sketch, Figma, XD, etc.). Must be willing to

·          learn new tools and participate in refining the design team’s process.

·         Knowledge of HTML5/CSS3 and, in general, what designs are and are not technically

·          feasible.

·         Proficiency with creating vector illustrations and graphics.

·         Experience designing a product at a fast-growing startup is a plus.

·         4 year college degree preferred.

·         Must have a portfolio.
