Job Description

The Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis will establish and lead the FP&A function at Clark Construction Management. This role is responsible for building the financial planning infrastructure required to support a growing construction management platform, including budgeting, forecasting, project performance analysis, and KPI reporting.

The position serves as the analytical partner to the CFO and operational leadership. The role translates project and operational data into financial insights that support disciplined decision-making, capital allocation, and risk management across the business.

This individual will build standardized reporting frameworks for project performance, backlog visibility, and margin tracking across CCM’s portfolio of projects.

The role requires a hands-on finance professional capable of building financial models, implementing reporting discipline, and partnering closely with project managers and operations leadership.

Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Forecasting

  • Lead the annual budgeting process across the organization.
  • Develop rolling forecasts that incorporate project backlog, project timelines, and working capital requirements.
  • Build and maintain consolidated financial forecasts covering income statement, cash flow, and balance sheet projections.
  • Develop financial models supporting long-term strategic planning and company growth.

Financial Planning & Forecasting

  • Develop standardized reporting packages for management highlighting key financial drivers.
  • Improve financial visibility across the organization through reporting dashboards and analytics.
  • Support integration between operational project data and financial reporting systems.
  • Partner with accounting to ensure accurate and timely financial data supports forecasts and analysis.

Qualifications

Knowledge & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting Economics or related field.
  • CPA or equivalent professional designation preferred.
  • Minimum 6 – 8 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance or project finance.
  • Advanced financial modelling capabilities and strong Excel proficiency.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into actional insights.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with operational teams and senior leadership.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.
  • Self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.

Desired:

  • Experience in construction, infrastructure, or project-based industries is strongly preferred.
  • Previous experience in Premier (Jonas) and QuickBooks.
  • Previous experience with FS Consolidation tool.

Compensation:
The estimated starting salary range for this role is $110,000-$120,000 based on your experience and qualifications. Final compensation will be confirmed as part of a personalized offer.
