Job Description
Civil Engineering Consultants is looking for a Professional Engineer with transportation design experience to manage assigned projects and contracts; be responsible for task scopes, budgets, schedules, and deliverable quality. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to actively participating in client marketing, identifying new opportunities, assist in marketing proposals and maintaining client relationships.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be a PE with a minimum of 15 years’ experience in Transportation and the following:
- BS degree in Civil Engineering
- PE required
- At least 15 years of relevant experience with TxDOT and be pre-certified with TxDOT.
- Must have TxDOT PM Evaluation on file. Submit TxDOT Evaluation with resume.
- Experience directing and managing multiple projects and contracts.
- Ability to prepare and oversee preparation of civil design calculations for items such as roadways, paving, drainage, grading, and utility. Estimate and calculate quantities from construction drawings.
- Prepare and monitor project schedules with overall responsibility for on-time and on-budget completion of projects.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Working knowledge of MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer, and Primavera a plus.
