Job Description

Why You’ll Love This Role

You’ll play a vital role in keeping our city clean and safe by operating heavy vehicles and supporting verge collections. This is a hands-on role where your skills make a visible impact every day.

What You’ll Be Doing

  •  Operate HR vehicles for verge collections
  •  Complete scheduled verge collection routes
  •  Perform daily vehicle checks and maintenance
  •  Follow two-way radio protocols
  •  Deliver excellent customer service at all times
  •  Work closely with Team Leader and Waste Services Supervisor
  •  Maintain safety standards and comply with procedures

Qualifications

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for a skilled operator with a strong safety focus and local knowledge. You’ll ideally bring:

  • Current HR Driver’s Licence
  •  National Police Clearance (under 3 months)
  •  Basic First Aid Certificate
  • Extensive experience driving trucks
  • Knowledge of City of Stirling suburbs
  • Ability to work unsupervised and follow instructions 
  • Commitment to customer service excellence
