Type: Permanent, Full Time
Salary: from $80,421.72 Super (dependent on skills and experience)

If you’re an experienced surveying assistant who enjoys site‑based work and seeing your expertise directly shape infrastructure delivery, this role offers the opportunity to step into a hands‑on position using modern surveying technology across a wide range of construction projects.

You’ll work closely with experienced surveyors, site supervisors and contractors, contributing technical input while being part of a small, supportive team. While the role is ideally suited to someone already qualified and experienced, we’re also open to considering developing surveyors who demonstrate strong capability and commitment to progression.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Assist with feature and construction surveys
  • Support construction set‑out on active sites
  • Collect “as constructed” survey data
  • Process survey data using CAD software
  • Maintain accurate spatial and asset records
  • Collaborate with supervisors and contractors
  • Promote safe work practices on site

Qualifications

What You’ll Bring

We’re ideally looking for a qualified surveying professional who can apply their skills in a practical, site‑focused environment. You’ll ideally bring:

  • Completed Certificate III or Diploma in Surveying
  • Experience in engineering or construction surveying
  • Confidence working on active construction sites
  • Skills using AutoCAD, LisCAD or similar software
  • Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
  • Commitment to safety and quality survey outcomes
  • Current WA driver’s licence

While we are targeting qualified and experienced surveyors, developing candidates with demonstrated potential will also be considered.
