Job Description
The City of Seminole is seeking a full-time City Inspector or Multi-Certification Inspector. Duties include enforcement of local and state codes, ordinances, regulations, statutes; perform plan reviews; perform building inspections for safety, structural, electrical, gas, mechanical, plumbing, municipal, and construction.
Salary range for City Inspector: $47,565.88/year to $71,348.82/year.
Salary range for Multi-Certification Inspector: $49,944.17/year to $74,916.26/year.
The selected applicant will be subject to a background investigation and drug screening.
Starting salary: depending upon qualifications (D.O.Q.).

Qualifications
Minimum requirements for City Inspector include: A high school diploma/equivalent, valid Florida driver’s license. Applicant selected must possess Florida Standard Building or 1 & 2 Family Inspector license.
Minimum Requirements for Multi-Certification Inspector include: A high school diploma/equivalent, valid Florida driver’s license. Applicant selected must possess Florida Standard Building Code Inspector plus at least one additional license in Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, or One & Two Family Dwelling.
